Job description

IBM Brand System professionals lead all of IBM to deliver client, employee, community, investor and business partner experiences that are in line with our brand strategy, intent, execute on the brand strategy set forth by Brand System leadership and aligned to IBM's business priorities in each of the markets we serve. IBM Brand System professionals are responsible for developing strategically-sound and operationally-detailed brand strategies, plans and programs as an integral part of the global business plan. They serve as subject matter experts for the IBM brand, the IBM brand character, and a values based brand strategy. They apply, and enable others to apply, successful influence strategies through personal, social and structural motivation and ability to create positive change for IBM business and markets.

The role will be based in Bangalore and s/he will require strong project management, collaboration and execution skills. S/he will be expected to drive campaigns and activities for new markets within India SA, work on branding of new offices, building thought leadership and brand enablement and also manage and build new client references. In addition s/he will work on current marketing projects and help in managing a conditioning framework for geo markets. A good understanding of advertising, design, collateral development, agency operations, budget management, project management and good collaboration skills are a must.

# Required Skills - Technical and Non Technical

7-10 years experience in a brand Communications or in Marketing Communications.

# Required Language Skills

English: Fluent – written, spoken.

Clarity of thought

Ability to collaborate across BU and Functions

Manage and execute projects on time and within budget

Engage with stakeholders across the spectrum

High degree of organizational ability and multi-tasking

Ability to manage complex projects with program management
expertise and limited daily supervision

High maturity levels

Good skills in understanding design, guidelines and a sharp eye on details.
