SENIOR SYSTEM SOFTWARE ENGINEER (COMMUNICATIONS) #1438439


NVIDIA is searching for world-class software engineers for an exciting role on our Tegra communication software team. As a member of team, you will work closely with hardware and software engineers to design, develop, and debug telephony subsystem of mobile devices across many different platforms.


RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, develop and platform integration of IPC drivers, RIL, aGPS etc for next generation of 3G/4G modems
- Analyze and debug system integration issues by working with cross functional teams.
- Optimize system to meet power targets for telephony use cases.
- Work with tier1 mobile device manufacturers to help bring new Tegra phones and tablet to the market


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS or MS degree in EE/CS/CE
- Minimum of 2-4 years of related experience.
- Excellent C programming and debugging skills.
- Experience working with IO device drivers like USB, SPI, SDIO etc in embedded linux
- Experience integrating modem with application processors
- Experience integrating WiFi/Bluetooth/NFC is plus
- A strong team player; self-motivated and good attitude
- Detailed knowledge of low-level linux kernel functionality and experience with system debug and tools such as logic analyzer, oscilloscope etc.
- Ability and flexibility to work and communicate effectively in a multi-national, multi-time-zone corporate environment.
