Successful candidate will be based in Bangalore and responsible to generate maximum profitable revenues and passenger volumes as per the revenue target assigned to you for Etihad Airways through directing and focusing the corporate sales team to an agreed plan and activity. Establish presence of the airline as a major quality brand in the market.
Your responsibilities shall include but not limited to:
Quickly build & maintain profitable sales & market share for Etihad.
Secure business from key corporate segments, including major companies, SME’s, Tvl Mgt Companies, Chambers, online & other relevant sectors.
Recruit, lead & develop a professional, highly effective, & motivated sales team.
Drive the successful implementation of corporate initiatives.
Develop and implement systems to make the sales force effective.
Ensure sales activity is within cost of sale targets.
Ensures Etihad anticipates and/or responds to market & competitor trends, issues, threats so as to win more sales or to avoid or minimize any adverse impact on sales.
Educated to degree level or equivalent. Business qualifications an advantage.
You must have:
Minimum 8 years sales experience, of which, 4 should have been spent at a management level in a similar role, within an airline or multinational travel company.
Training in account management, sales & negotiation skills, with the ability to coach, train and guide sales executives on best method.
Team leadership skills, positive, energetic, dynamic, and creative.
Ability to work under pressure and to short lead times.
Self starter with strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Good analytical skills to make positive use of broad range of data and information.
Good PC skills include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, and revenue tracking systems
