Key Job responsibilities:
The IBM JDK is the underpinning technology for a significant portfolio of the IBM Product stack. The key job responsibilities in the role of a Senior Level 3 Service Engineer will include debugging problems reported on the component technologies of the IBM JDK and provide resolution through code changes for the reported problem if identified to be a bug in the IBM JDK code, provide technical direction to the team members.
Total Years of relevant experience: 8 - 12 years of Work experience
# Required Skills - Technical and Non Technical
Thorough in programming language fundamentals (Java & C/C++) ,
Strong debugging skills and analytical capabilities, good understanding of operating system concepts (ex: memory management, threading), and
Experience with debuggers like gdb., dbx.
Very good Java, J2EE concepts.
Strong in Networking concepts. CORBA skills are desirable.
Business English : Mastered
16 years of formal education, Bachelors Degree in CS or related fields
