Experience Required(Description) : Technical Skills Required: Oracle DBA 4 + yrs of experience, Oracle OAS experience may be 1-2 yrs. Hands on experience in administering Oracle database on Unix/Windows platform, version 9i or above. Good knowledge of installation, configuration, monitoring, backup and recovery strategy for Oracle databases as well as performance tuning. Nice to Have: Scripting experience and knowledge of ITIL framework. Prior Ford experience a plus. Other Candidate should have good communication skills and be able to work in team environment. Work timings are typically 12:30pm to 9:30pm IST and must participate in on-call rotation where weekend support is required. Rotation is typically one week out of 8-10 weeks.
Roles & Responsiblities

Oracle Application server 9i/10g release 1 and release 2 1.Oracle application server 10g installation release 1 and release2 (infrastructure,forms,reports,j2ee and web cache) 2.Application server j2ee instance configuration and maintenance of log files 3.Application server infra configuration, forms configuration and maintenance of log files 4.Integration of database with application server 5.Ear,War,fmb,fmx files deployment in application server 6.Emconsole management for application server 7.Report server configuration and troubleshooting 8.Configuring the SSL certificates for http and web cache components 9.oracle discoverer configuration and administration. Note: Now it is called as Oracle Fusion middleware 11g (A weblogic concept).Oracle introduced weblogic concept from oracle application server 10g release 3 onwards.Oracle Application server 11g is known as Oracle Fusion middleware 11g.
