Description

The South Asia Staffing manager role is a critical role where the incumbent will lead and manage the South Asia staffing and recruitment team. The incumbent will lead the effort to strategize and plan for the South Asia hiring function. In this role, the incumbent will be required to lead the workforce planning effort, work closely with the business and other staffing stockholders to arrive at an overall picture for talent acquisition. This incumbent will then lead the team in strategizing and delivering to the plan for talent acquisition. In this process, the incumbent will be responsible to ensure we meet customer and business requirements; deliver strong operational processes, identify creative methods to deliver to the business needs. The incumbent should be able to understand strategies for attraction external talent; to source this talent � to drive various methods by which we position Intel as an employer of choice. Possess good understanding of markets (skill sets, trends, competition, etc), and incorporate that knowledge into strategy development and execution. In addition, the role will require the incumbent to grow and lead the South Asia staffing team and grow the health of the organization. The incumbent will also be responsible for all operational aspects of this job including reviewing - quality and quantity of hire, vendor management methods and metrics, Recruiter efficiency, and to measure hiring trends versus hiring projections,. Responsible for control and compliance requirements based on local laws and company policies (e.g. background investigations, drug testing).
Apart than managing South Asia � the person will work extensively with peers & partners in the Asia Region - contributing to both Site & Regional programs & influencing staffing strategies/decisions for Asia. This role will report to the Greater Asia Region Staffing Director.

Qualifications

1) Require the person to have at least 8 - 10 years of experience- either within the business or within Human Resources.
2) will look for an MBA from a premier institute.
3) The span of capabilities include - The ability to think at a program level - from the time of understanding the requirement to be able to closely program manage the process to closure; the ability to enjoy both the big picture thinking but also dive into detail�..as required; Patience and understanding of the processes and operational rigor required by large organizations is vital; Attention to detail and good judgment required for compensation recommendations, pay exception management, and influence on offer/accept decisions.Needs to be able to possess clear articulation and communication capabilities
4) Proven program management and people management capabilities.
5) Person must be willing to travel - within India and across the region.
