Description

In the Industry-Standard Server and Software Business Unit we are looking for an experienced Product Marketing Manager to drive the product planning and marketing of HP BladeSystem Matrix integration to build a broad eco-system and community for Matrix. This role would include the responsibility to closely work with partner organizations such as the HP Services and Alliance teams to maximize marketing opportunities for HP BladeSystem Matrix. Take responsibility for conducting customer research, analysing the market and competitive trends, and define eco-system strategy and necessary integration product requirements. Work with the R&D teams and partners to set strategy and direction, agree and execute on roadmaps to deliver timely solutions that meet customer and business needs.
• Drive the definition of a product/ service/solution (PSS) family/ portfolio through R&D and solutions teams
• Determine appropriate PSS family positioning prior to introduction
• Influence third parties to enhance solutions capabilities
• Regularly meet with customers or partners during the sales process
• Determine and lead an appropriate product/service/solution family introduction process to assure an effective launch within the region
• Influence appropriate third parties to enhance solutions capabilities
• Influence at the vice president and above level
Qualifications

Education and Experience Required:

• College degree in Marketing/Business/Technical

Knowledge and Skills Required:

• Highly knowledgeable of product/solution family and the business needs of the target customers
• 7 years experience in product marketing fundamentals
• Demonstrated knowledge of general marketing function either through education or work experience
