Responsibilities
To co-ordinate with NPI related information of new vehicle , features list pertaining to new vehicle etc.
Lead a team of engineers to ensure on time data preparation and delivery.
To interact with other departments for suggestions and support for the photography of parts of vehicle and vehicle as a whole for smooth work flow of deliverables.
To ensure timely discussions with the designers of design departments to validate the drafts related to the new vehicle for Onus manual, Workshop manual and Parts catalogue.
To ensure timely availability of detailed description on vehicle aggregates, photography of vehicle and service procedure.
To monitor that all activities of the group are properly tracked for timing and accuracy of data collected from designers of different departments like E&E, Cab Design and Vehicle integration etc
To review adherence to quality norms , audits like ISO , TBEM , etc.by setting up robust internal process.
To focus on customer satisfaction at higher levels by presenting detailed description of vehicle through data and diagrams.
To Develop people for superior performance
a) Motivate and Guide subordinates to enable them achieve organisational goals
b) Periodically review subordinate performance and identify development needs
c) Organise relevant training for employee development
To lead knowledge management efforts to leverage existing knowledge base in different area of the division and provide support to other divisions in terms of knowledge requirement
To establish the system to ensure that all the activities of the group are properly tracked for timing and quality documented.
Requirements
Should be Graduate / Post Graduate inMechanical/ Automobile / Electrical Engineer.
Minimum 8yrs of relevant experience in Customer service/Parts operation/Vehicle servicing.
Should have knowledge and clartiy on Basic Engineering Concepts related to the automotive parts both from the perspective of design and working of vehicle.
Should possess software proficiency especially in MS office , Coral draw , Photoshop , PLM , Pro-E etc
Should have detailed Product Knowledge with respect to the automotive industry.
Should have good Communication and interpersonal skills with good team work.
Should have good leadership Skills
Should have passion for customer satisfaction and QCD (Quality, Cost and Delivery)
Should be able to utilize the Knowledge resources effectively.
Should have knowledge of Process & Quality Compliance like ISO & TBEM
