Responsibilities
To lead a team of engineers vehicle level Electrical & Electronics systems definition and technical project management from concept stage to production for E & E aggregates / systems
To lead a team of engineers for New Product /sub system development or EE Vehicle Integration
To conduct DFMEAs, Design reviews, Control on drawing releases & vehicle E & E configuration.
To interact with different suppliers and internal agencies to ensure timely delivery
To interact with different third party test agencies for Vehicle /sub system /aggregate prototype tests
To plan & support the prototype vehicle build for establishing the validation & reliability of E & E aggregates / systems.
To ensure timely execution for deliverables related EE Veh Integration / Aggregate or system development.as Team Lead / Competancey Lead
To Motivate and Guide subordinates to enable them achieve organisational goals
To Periodically review subordinate performance and identify development needs
To Organise relevant training for employee development
To develop risk taking capabilities and encourage actions to demonstrate the same
To do the PMS evaluation of subordinate team members.
To lead knowledge management efforts to leverage existing knowledge base in different area of the division and provide support to other divisions in terms of knowledge requirement
To foster an environment conducive for innovation & change
To retain skills / expertise developed in Research activities
Requirements
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor of Engineering/Technology in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
At least 9 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Applicants should be Indian citizens or hold relevant residence status.
Preferably Senior Managers specializing in Engineering - Electrical/Electronic or equivalent. Job role in Supervisor/Team Lead or equivalent.
Should have experience in design and development of one or more of the following E & E aggregates & systems:
1) Instrument Cluster
2) Switches
3) Infotainment System, Radios, Navigation, Speakers & Antennas
4) FATC/HVAC E&E system
5) Body Control Module, Immobilizer,Alarm system.
6) ECU's for Power train, Chassis Systems, Active & Passive Safety Systems and it’s sensors.
Should possess in depth knowledge of automotive electronic control systems - Functional, design aspects, application & integration.
Should possess working knowledge of problem solving techniques and design optimization, Benchmarking, Warranty Analysis, Cost Reduction, Value Engg
Should possess in depth knowledge of the functional and physical interactions between vehicle sub-systems
Should have knowledge of various manufacturing Processes.
Should possess knowledge of 3D CAD packages such as CATIA V5, CAD data layouts Digital Mock Ups (DMU), DFMEA
Should have simulation Hands ON -For aggregate development verification , Model Development , Test cases generation, Design optimization based on simualtion tools will be preferred.
Should have basic knowledge of Six Sigma and Quality Tools e.g QFD , Tradeoff etc.
Should have exposure to styling and aesthetics.
Should have knowledge about various manufacturing techniques & processes
Should posses regulatory requirements, i.e. AIS, CMVR & ECE etc.
Should have knowledge about new technology in automotive vehicles.
Should have good Presentation Skills
Should have good communication skills
Should have excellent people management and conflict management skills.
