Metrics and Reporting Advisor

As part of Dell’s efforts to transform our operations, we have an exciting opportunity to help drive improvements across our New Consumer Solutions organization. Our team will help lead the effort to reshape our Consumer services. Consumer Solutions programs are driven to help make Dell more competitive, focused and smarter about how it delivers products and Services to customers, and ultimately drive the best customer experience possible. The Consumer Solutions team will work to better understand the dynamic needs of our customers and offer comprehensive solutions to meet those needs.

In this role, the Metrics and Reporting Advisor will be responsible for building and developing key reports to run the business effectively. He/she will be responsible for working on a broad cross-function team to gather the right requirements to create a comprehensive metrics and reporting package.



Key Activities:
· Formulates conclusions and provides summary analysis and interpretation for leadership.
· Consults with business to identify new reports or data needs to support business decisions.
· Simplifies and standardizes reports at regular intervals.
· Defines and determines metrics definitions from a global perspective.
· Designs, drives and implements reporting to support the business.
· Lead the metrics planning and reporting requirements discussions and development globally
· Analyzes the business for trends and developments
· Partner with finance to develop services business cases
· Produces and reviews business analysis with Sr. Leaders (VP’s, GM’s, Sales, Marketing, Services) to move key goals and objectives forward
· Works with Internal/External third parties and resources to develop comprehensive analysis
· As appropriate, adopt and utilize Dell’s standard new service introduction and phase review planning standards
· Participates in weekly team meetings
· Produces weekly, monthly and quarterly reports (executive Summary and detail reports

Qualifications
Experience required
· 6+ years working experience required
· MBA a Plus
· Be hands on, a do-er with analytical skills
· Strong analysis and analytics experience
· Be a team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
· Be able to get results by influencing and convincing others
· Ability to build collaborative cross-functional relationships & handle multiple tasks
· Ability to provide technical oversight and guidance to partners for projects on a variety of platforms, while remaining focused on overall business requirements
· Ability to reconcile divergent demands of multiple parties
· Ability to act as a business partner in support of your business units
Ability to work effectively with senior management
Technical Skills
· Strong Program and Project Management
· PMP Certification a Plus
Dealing with Ambiguity
· Ability to prioritize requirements from multiple sources while setting clear expectations of deliverables to all
· Comfortable drawing conclusions on the basis on incomplete data.
