Managed Services Business Development Director

Role
As the Head of Presales & Solution Design, the person will be responsible for building and leading the Presales and Solution design team comprising of Presales consultants, Bid managers and Solution Architects. This person should be a veteran in Healthcare Vertical, designing and developing solutions with 15-20 years of experience, having led large practice teams globally.



He will be responsible for building the Presales and Solution design team for Dell Healthcare Vertical and will work closely with Sales/account teams to support existing accounts, and also to support new prospects / opportunities. He should possess a proven track record of building large solutioning teams that are responsible for bid management, solution design, providing support to existing accounts, winning new business and establishing the organization as a credible player in Healthcare domain.

Responsibilities
As an integral part of the Dell Healthcare Vertical, the person is responsible for establishing a highly focused team of Presales consultants, Bid Managers and Solution Architects for providing support throughout the sales/deal life cycle. This includes, but is not limited to, responding to proposals, interacting with Finance / Legal / Domain / Delivery teams, delivery of capability presentations, supporting participation in Industry seminars, participating in M&A activities, forging strategic alliances etc.
The Presales and Solution design head will be responsible for managing the deal through its entire life cycle and will be single point of contact for Sales, Delivery, Domain, Legal, Finance and Account teams.
He will be responsible for creating strategic differentiation for Dell’s Healthcare vertical proposed solutions vis-à-vis competition.
He will work closely will Sales, Domain & Account delivery teams globally to help win new business and will also ensure successful proposal submissions to RFP’s / RFI’s etc.
He will be responsible for providing support to existing accounts, provide inputs during contractual negotiations, liaise with Finance for commercials and interact with customers to close the deals.
Requirements
15-20 years of Industry experience, having worked in Tier-1 IT organizations in Healthcare, having led large teams.
Experience of building, leading and managing large teams comprising of Bid managers, Presales consultants and Solution Architects.
Ability to establish Dell as a credible player in Healthcare domain by ensuring quality proposals, preparing innovative solution offerings for prospects, interacting with Customers for solution presentations etc.
Ability to lead by example by creating competitive differentiation in Presales & Solution Design activities.
Enabling Sales teams to have productive discussions with prospects and to proactively plan and fulfill requests from Delivery teams.
Good communication skills with ability to lead domain discussions with commercial domain customers
Extensive travel is required for this position (60%)
