Description
Manager with staff responsibility. Performs and coordinates day-to-day activities to meet departmental and overall business objectives. Carries out root/cause analysis in more complex problems. Can develop and implement recommendations. - Managerial/Supervisory - Direct supervisory responsibilities for people. Carries out variety of complex activities according to plan within broader area of responsibility, analyses problems. Decision making typically according to established solutions and within own functional area. Expert in the field of Nokia Demand Supply Planning.
Objectives (Key Result Tasks)
Owner of IHL overall processes (Inbound, outbound, distribution, ware housing, reports, audits etc)
Operational responsibility for local and regional IHL's
Resourcing and process discipline of IHL operations
IHL operations performance and Logistics Service Provider (LSP) management together with the Senior OBLT manager
Managing the LSP's for the warehouse operations.
Managing the commercial functions which include processing of bills, insurance, certificates, Way bills, quality watch, customs and trade compliance, etc.
Managing possible Value added services e.g. bundling, blistering, GEAR, etc..
Managing the Defect On Arrival (DOA) process
Owning all projects global and local for inputs and implementation related to her/his IHL's
Managing the costs and budgets
Responsibility of Distribution from IHL to end customer including
Participates in regular Monthly Business Review (MBR), Quarterly Business Review (QBR) and LSP meetings run by Sales Unit (SU), Senior OBLT manager
Provides input and review local LSP contracts
Is supportive part of the LSP selection process lead by the Senior OBLT manager
Reporting to the Senior OBLT manager in the SU and be part of the global Outbound, Logistics and Transportation (OBLT) organisation
Qualifications
Know how required
6+ years of experience in Operational Logistics
Expert in the following Operational Logistics disciplines
Contract Logistics
Value Added Services
Customs Clearance / Trade Compliance
Experience in high volume, high mix product environment
Understands, how the LSP's are internally organized and their business model(s) , ideal she/he would have experience within a LSP organization
Has implemented new logitistics operational solutions in high demanding environment
Background and experience in project management as well as in process design
High tech and/or consumer electronics experience is preferred. Working with telecom industry and specifically operators is viewed favorably
Has worked in multinational and multicultural environment
Proven track record in attracting, hiring, developing, mentoring and coaching individuals and teams
Experience working in a matrixed organization is ideal
She/he has experiences in LSP-negotiations (contract, price, etc.)
She/he is able to think "out of the box", across different organisational units and is a source of innovative logistical ideas.
