Job Engineering - Test Engineer
Primary LocationAP-IN-KA-Bangalore
Schedule Full-time
Shift Day Job


Responsibilities:
· Design and develop Test strategy, Test plan and Test scenarios.
· Review of design and requirements.
· Develop test cases based on requirements.
· Identify Project risks and mitigation plans
· Test case automation
· Offer Technical guidance to Test team.
· Ensure process and schedule adherence of Projects
· Test project management and Project status updates.
· Interface with local and remote extended teams.

General Skills:
· Strong Testing fundamentals
· Hands-on experience in System testing or Product Integration testing.
· Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
· Conceptual and problem solving skills.
·
Technical Skills
Hardware Skills
· In depth knowledge of PC and Server Architecture
· Good knowledge of Storage technologies like TAPE, RAID, SCSI, SAS and iSCSI

OS/Software knowledge
· Expertise in one or more Server operating systems.
· Experience in Systems Management software
· Expertise on Networking- Ethernet, TCP/IP
· Good Knowledge of SNMP and IPMI
· Working knowledge of Python / Perl or Shell scripting.
· Knowledge of Active Directory, Kerberos, LDAP etc
· Application and OS debugging skills will be an advantage
· Exposure to Security Testing and familiarity with relevant tools and methodologies is a plus

Qualifications

· 6 to 9 yrs of industry experience
· Qualification: B.E./B. Tech. or M.C.A
