Responsibilities
To work on 3D modelling, assembly, drawing and drafting of Tyres and Wheel Rims using CAD tool ProE
To release designs in PLM, Team Centre along with design calculations and vehicle packaging.
To interact with external agencies like DMU, Proto shops, vendors etc for releasing drawings and manufacturing of prototypes
To interact with PLM system owners for modification procedures
To interact with external agencies like vendors and Proto shops etc for part procurements for testing and analysis purpose
To interact with CFTs and monitor vehicle progress
To adhere to TS, ISO, TML standards and Clearance matrix
To effectively contribute to the overall team / company targets
To study and implement cost saving and quality improvement ideas
Requirements
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent.
Required skill(s): Pro-E.
At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Engineering - Mechanical/Automotive or equivalent. Job role in R&D Engineer or equivalent.
Should possess basic knowledge of design concepts of Tyres, Wheel Rims
Should be an expertise in design softwares like ProE-Wildfire
Should have basic knowledge of PLM ,PDM software
Should possess general knowledge of Pro-Mechanica, Pro-Mechanism
Should have knowledge of international standards, GD & T
Should have good knowledge of fundamentals of engineering, design and drafting
Should have knowledge about various manufacturing techniques
Should have good interpersonal skills.
