Responsibilities
To prepare technical specifications in line with the vehicle requirements.
To work on 3D modelling, assembly, drawing and drafting of various aggregates using CAD tools like ProE
To release designs in PLM, Team Centre alongwith export specifications, vehicle performance calculations and total vehicle packaging.
To interact with external agencies like DMU, Proto shops, vendors etc for releasing drawings and manufacturing of prototypes
To interact with PLM system owners for modification procedures
To check for issues related to various aggregates in DMU, generate report and get them resloved
To perform basic stress, geometrical and strength calculations for various components.
To interact with external agencies like vendors and Proto shops etc for part procurements for testing and analysis purpose
To interact with CFTs and monitor vehicle progress
To adhere to TS, ISO, TML standards and Clearance matrix
To effectively contribute to the overall team / company targets
To study and implement cost saving and quality improvement ideas
To update project status to project manager
To ensure capability improvement of the team
Requirements
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor of Engineering/Technology in Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent.
At least 2 year(s) to maximum 8 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferably Managers specializing in Engineering - Mechanical/Automotive or equivalent. Job role in R&D Engineer or equivalent.
Full-Time positions available.
Should possess thorough knowledge of design concepts of chassis aggregates like controls, suspension, steering, front axle,drive shaft, exhaust, fuel systems etc for designing purpose
Should be an expertise in design softwares like ProE-Wildfire
Should have basic knowledge of PLM ,PDM software
Should have operational knowledge of DFMEA analysis and other calculation tools
Should possess general knowledge of Pro-Mechanica, Pro-Mechanism
Should have knowledge of international standards
Should have good knowledge of fundamentals of engineering, design and drafting
Should have knowledge about various manufacturing techniques & processes like DFA &DFM
Should posses regulatory requirements, i.e. AIS, CMVR & ECE etc.
Should have knowledge about new technology in automotive vehicles.
Should have good interpersonal skills.******
