Job Inside Sales - Technical Sales Representative
Primary LocationAP-IN-KA-Bangalore

Required to analyse prospective customers networking requirements and present a suitable solution(s) in order to meet customer requirements
2. This role is responsible for providing pre-sales technical consulting on Dell's Enterprise technologies and Service capabilities, primarily PowerEdge Servers, PowerVault Storage, Dell EMC storage solutions and OpenManage Server Management Tools.
3. Provide design for complex hardware and software solutions and/or modifies/maintains complex existing applications
4. Responsible for helping the Inside Sales team identify and close advanced system specific sales opportunities while also developing and maintaining a relationship with the customer's network/server related technical/IS staff and decision makers.

5. Provide consultation on industry wide technologies, including server and network hardware, Client/server applications, network operating systems and enterprise management applications.

6. Provide competitive product positioning in relation to Dell advanced systems products.

7. Maintains an up to date knowledge of present technological trends, processes and methodologies in the I.T. marketplace so as to have a strong understanding and knowledge of competitor products and services (i.e. when supporting the sale of the Dell solution and in turn the Dell Model.)
8. Assists with the preparation of the technical solution needs for RFP's/Proposals

BE / MBA preferred
· 4-6 years experience preferred
· Superior written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills
· Ability to work under pressure and according to deadlines
· Excellent listening skills,Strong analysis skills and ability to find solutions using lateral thinking
· Worked in a sales/pre-sales or consulting environment and been responsible for managing a sales quota
· One or more Industry accreditations, MCSE, CNE, CCNA, Compaq ASE, IBM PSE, HP equiv, etc
· Strong technical skills in advanced system hardware - SCSI Clustering, Storage Area Networks or Network Area Storage
· High degree of knowledge of client/server platforms, multi-platform networks hardware and software knowledge - Work Group Servers, Enterprise Servers
· High degree of knowledge regarding telecommunications and WAN hardware
Experience in PC and network related technical sales environment
