Responsibilities
To act as a technical Support for the digital product development Systems in ERC
To assist in the hand holding process of the end user in their day-to-day operations related to PLM-CAD Interface and CAD systems
To act as a hardware and software implementation Support
To be responsible for training of the users on PLM-CAD Interface, EBOM for this project
To ensure data integrity during the design releases in PLM and CAD
To ensure that all the data is properly linked, JT and PDF files are created and connected with the items in PLM
To receive information related to working in CAD systems and PLM, analyse and resolve the issues at the local level,route them through system teams and track them to closure
To report to the Project Manager for all administrative purposes and for day-to-day work assignments and priorities
To report to the team leader from associated for technical purposes
To route the request to the right agency and track to closure
Requirements
Candidate must possess at least a diploma (Mechanical) or equivalent.
At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferably Managers specializing in Engineering - Mechanical/Automotive or equivalent. Job role in Mechanical Engineer or equivalent.
Should have undergone special training or work experience using either Pro/E WF2 or CATIA V5 or both
Should be aware of installation and configuration of software on workstations
Should be aware of PLM software
Should possess domain knowledge in either one of the areas viz.CAD tools (CATIA,ProE,UG), PLM, mechanical design
Should have exposure to Computer Systems and OS Commands
Should possess good grasping skills with sound academic record.The candidate should possess first class(above 60%) through-out his academic record with-out a year or six months gap due to failure in any course
Should possess good interpersonal and communication skills
Should be aware of Automotive domain
Should demonstrate good knowledge of fundamentals of engineering
