Job description
To manage IT Infra Operations for the country. Work involves managing new account transitions, understanding of network requirements and proposing the right solutions, day to day operations and support for network issues - both data and voice via service partners, manage inhouse servers thro service partners, manage lab and training room setup for the learning and development team
"1. Should have played the role of Service Delivery Manager in his last role for atleast 2- 3 years
2. Should have managed a team as a people manager for atleast 2 years
3. Should have good hands on understanding of data networking with good understanding of voice networks
4. Should have good understanding of supporting high end servers - X and P series.
Education - Bachelor of Engineering
Certifications - ITIL v3, CCNA. PMP would be added advantage.

# Required Skills - Technical and Non Technical
Network Management Should have good working, hands on knowledge about data networking. Should have worked on Cisco products - Swtiches, Firewalls, Packetshapers. Should be able to understand and analyze packetshaper reports and do capacity planning. Should be able to guide the team to troubleshoot issues. - Atlease 5 year experience
Server Management Should have managed servers some time in his/her career. Should understand the requirements for setting up high end servers both from hardware and software side. Knowldge of data centre setup would be a value add. Should be able to give directions to team to optimize and consolidate as well as look into performance of the servers with respect to applications running on them. Should be able to guide team to troubleshoot issues. - Atlease 2 year experience
People Management Should have managed a team as a people manager. Should have good people management skills. Should have been able to restrict attrition in the team. Should be able to understand the on the job issues of the team and provide relevant support for them. Should be able to guide them on their career development within IBM. - Atlease 2 year experience
Office Automation Products Should be able to use MS Office products with ease for creation of Presentations, Costing sheets, proposals etc. - Atlease 4 year experience
