Industry Value sales consultant with technical expertise in WebSphere’s Connectivity and BPM software (WebSphere’s Process Server, including Modeler and Monitor, ESB, MQ, DataPower, Message Broker, WebSphere MQ/FTE and WTX). Industry knowledge and experience in selling the benefits (Value / ROI) of our Business Integration solutions is a key requirement.

The Industry Value sales consultant works directly with customers and IBM sales teams to translate product capabilities into quantifiable and measurable financial benefit specific to the customer. This consultant will lead workshops that include customer Business and IT executives. Workshops require excellent facilitation, communication, and presentation skills, and a creativity that enables the consultant to quickly build a trusted relationship with the customer. The Industry Value consultant will demonstrate an ability to work collaboratively with both direct and indirect WebSphere sellers, Client teams, and other teams on complex, high value opportunities.
Required: • Bachelor's degree
• At least 5 years of strong experience in financial analysis, consultative technical sales, and facilitation skills, with references
• Solid spreadsheet skills (use of spreadsheets and spreadsheet formulas at level 3 to 4 out of a possible 5)
• Proven collaboration, communication and presentation skills with at least 5 years experience selling to C-level executives
• At least 5 years experience in selling complex technical solutions to both line of business and IT executives
• At least 3 years experience selling to the Banking or Transportation Industry.
• An ability to travel up to 50%; traveling 3-4 days a week, home on weekends
• English: Fluent
Preferred : • Hands on experience with WebSphere Business Modeler
• IBM SWG Industry Solutions knowledge
• Enterprise Software Sales Experience
