General description:
NRC Advanced Systems Engineering (ASE) has an multidisciplinary engineering teams globally, which primarily create value by accelerating the delivery of research results to operating units. The work scope includes areas from advanced user interaction solutions to mobile internet services.
We are looking for an experienced Qt/MeeGo engineer to work as individual contributor in NRC ASE Bangalore team. You need to have in depth experience in MeeGo and software development, application packaging, application testing and troubleshooting. You'll will be responsible of developing Nokia's internal MeeGo configurations on system level and application configurations. Your customers include Nokia internal teams as well as end users using MeeGo devices in growing economies. You will be able to influence in to the content of your work and participate on future development in the product area.

Qualifications
6-8 years relevant experience (out of which at 2 years in mobile domain). Recognized expert in their field.
BSc degree (MSc preferred) in computer science.
Fluent in C++ and Qt programming
Previous experience in MeeGo (Maemo and/or Moblin) product programming, tools and processes is preferred
Deep knowledge in Linux development both in OS and SW and working experience in open source projects with proven track record
Experienced in graphical UI design and implementation in Linux environment
Deep knowledge on scripting, experience in PHP and Python
Independent, proactive and out of the box thinking.
