Qualifications
We are looking for a seasoned Software Engineer in MeeGo Application team that is engaged in creating Media-related applications for MeeGo Devices. In this senior technical role, you will be charged with producing best of breed software applications and components by:
· Designing and implementing innovative solutions to problems related to Media domain
· Developing and maintaining software components using Qt, C, C++ on the MeeGo Platform
· Coordinating with internal and external team members to deliver a rich user experience
· Working with Developers, Testers, and User Experience Designers in an Agile environment
· Mentoring other team members in areas of your expertise
Here are some of the things you will need to have in order to succeed in this role:
· Progressively increasing software development experience (12+ years)
· Demonstrable excellence in problem solving, algorithms, data structures and design patterns
· Expertise in Media Technologies (Feeds, Sharing, Audio, Video), C, C++, Qt, MeeGo, Linux
· Exposure to working across geographical sites in a multicultural environment
· Awareness of open source community practices and operating principles
· Passion for innovation with excellent communication, mentoring and inter-personal skills
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related field or equivalent
