Main Responsibility Areas
Works as error manager for the S40 LBS technology program in SW integration. Drives quality assurance and manages errors related to Nokia's location based services on S40, including dependencies on other S40 components. The position requires a good technical understanding, independent judgement and excellent communication skills.
Environment
Tasks require discretion and independent judgment. Carries out tasks according to assignment and set guidelines. Moderate degree of supervision and coaching needed. Close co-operation with various Nokia R&D teams is expected.
Scope
Participates as individual contributor to team, with extensive experience in function. Makes decisions affecting own work within set parameters, elevates others. Reviews priorities with peers.
Impact
Accountable for quality of team output. Errors have impact on the delivery.
Qualifications
Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science
Typically 2 years directly related experience in S40 or 2-4 years overall experience in professional software QA.
Fluency in written and spoken English.
Familiarity with location based services is beneficial.
