Purpose of the Job

Sales Manager within broad business/product/territory area responsible for generating orders and revenue by persuading customer to buy.

Motivates key partners and maintains relationship. Understands internal processes to expand business and profitability

Manages planning of resources with respect to region allotted.
Provides leadership to the distributors sales teams

(Key Result Tasks)

Engaging with partners w. r. t implementation and execution of sales strategies or plans

Managing Regional Distributor Stockist (RDS) profitability

Relationship with key customers and key large accounts

Managing sales activities with Organised Trade channel

Translating Nokia strategies to RDS

Managing stock at every level of distribution

Managing dealers w. r. t. implantation and execution of marketing activities
Key Interface

Coordination with Sales, RDS and sales promoters to ensure smooth flow of products, Retail Marketing

Know how required

Business Insight, Business Planning, Channel Management,
• Collaboration, Customer Focus, Leading & Coaching, Persuading & Influencing, Solution/Value Selling, Team player, speed of execution
Individual Portfolio
Typically 3-4 years relevant experience in FMCG/ Consumer Durables/Telecom/Technology industry. Recognized expert in their field (depth & breadth). Full time MBA degree holder. Working knowledge of technology is required

Individual PortfolioTypically 4-6 years relevant experience, fully competent. Uses functionally specific knowledge. Degree. EnvironmentPerforms day-to-day activates to meet departmental/project objectives. Requires immoderate supervision. Applies commonly recognised concepts within their field of expertise. Shares knowledge with less experienced peers or have high collegial interaction. Raises innovative ideas.
