Description

Job Description: In this position, you will be responsible for providing support for the network services within the Utility DMZ. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Responsible for Customer Engagement, design and implementation of Intercompany Connections such as P2P, S2S VPN and SSL VPN, and implementation of SED projects.
- Responsible for diagnosing / troubleshooting complex network issues, installation and configuration of network appliances such as Firewalls, GIA, VPN, Proxy, standard network expansion activities, and network Hardware and Software upgrades.
- Working as part of a global team supporting Intel's Utility DMZ and ICC infrastructure worldwide, responding to customer service requests and network incidents.

Qualifications

The candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree with not more than eighteen months of work experience in the Network field. The candidate should have completed the Cisco* Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification. Demonstrated working knowledge of network security principles and firewall technology. Strong technical background in IT network operations and business engagements in a high performing virtual team.

Additional qualifications include:
- Team player with strong communications skills
- Self-motivated and demonstrated ability to work independently
- Proven interpersonal skills, problem solving skills, conflict management and resolution skills, and project management skills
- Strong knowledge that includes Cisco switch and/or router configuration and troubleshooting, and other types of LAN hardware
- In-depth knowledge and experience with TCP and/or IP, Remote Access (VPN, SSL, etc..), Proxy, Firewall and understanding of network security technologies
- Familiarity with ITIL or ITIL certified is a strong plus
- CCNA, CCNP certifications recommended
