· Uses thought leadership to build customer relationships and assist customers in developing business solutions using Dell products and services.
· Coaches others in closing complex deals and assists others in keeping up-to-date on Dell’s technology, products, and services.
· Exhibits a broad base knowledge of multiple or related industries as well as an acute business understanding.
· Organizes internal/external resources in response to customer needs.
· Articulates how the Dell business model relates to selling Dell products and services.
Key point of contact for customer but may escalate customer issues/concerns as appropriate.
· At this level, complex opportunities. Works off an overlay quota.
· Gains access and manages relationships with technical personnel and decision makers.
· Matches product and/or service technology to a customer need highlighting a differentiated advantage.
· Provides insight and advice to customers concerning applicability of specific products and service technologies.
· Understands and articulates characteristics of the customer’s environment.
· Analyzes and applies industry, competitor and market knowledge.
· Understands the channel’s role in the sales process.
· Consults with other product specialists, leaders, or cross-functional technical groups to ensure consistent application of solutions.
· Entry-level position, good understanding of Dell’s product and services portfolio.
Frequent coaching/mentoring required.
Qualifications
6-7 years experience in IT Sales or Presales
