# Market Insights (MI) is one of eight ‘Marketing and Communication’ disciplines of IBM Corporation
The mandate for Market Insights is to deliver business impact as one team. We do that by identifying and recommending actions to address performance gap and opportunities; leveraging old, and developing new capabilities that enable better business decisions; and by demonstrating a strong commitment to help IBM achieve its business goals to improve performance and fuel growth. 
Market Insights has six functional teams that develop and provide critical subject matter expertise and market insight assets to all of IBM. They include: Client Research, Competitive Intelligence, Innovation & Market Insights, Knowledge Services, Market Analysis, and MI Practice Areas.

Demonstrated thought leadership
Minimum 3 years of desired experience required
