Responsibilities
Modeling of various parts using Catia V5 software
Creating drawings in Catia V5 software for final release
Release of drawings through Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)
Interact with proto building and testing agencies for building of the proto type
Active member of Design Failure Mode Effects Analysis (DFMEA) / Design for Manufacturing (DFM) group
Requirements
Department & Sub function:Cab Design
Education Qualification:Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering
Relevant Experience :1 to 3 years
Reporting to :Manager-Design
Understanding basic design concepts
Operational expertise in Catia V5 software
Awareness of basic concepts of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
Awareness of various materials used for proto building like plastics, metals etc
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Good grasping skills with sound academic record. The candidate should possess first class(above 60%) through-out his academic record with-out a year or a six months gap due to failure .
Demonstrate good knowledge of fundamentals of engineering, design and drafting
Awareness of the Automotive domain******
