Working in one of Philips Corporate Staff Departments, you’ll be at the heart of our worldwide company. These departments play a key role in supporting the Royal Philips Electronics Board of Management (BoM). So you may be involved in helping manage the processes and functions core to our operations: Performance Management, Finance,
Human Resources, Technology Management, Brand Management, or Information Technology.
Whatever your role, you’ll be helping implement BoM decisions, measure our performance, set company-wide standards and drive corporate initiatives. You may be involved in the creation of corporate products as diverse as our Annual Report, our brand image or a high-quality talent pool. But in every case, your activities will touch those of colleagues throughout Philips, as well as customers and stakeholders outside.
Philips People Services (PPS) is the Human Resources Shared Services organization of Philips. A team of 600 HR professionals delivering HR Services to Philips employees and managers at all stages of the career cycle. PPS delivers cost-effective people services by leveraging economies of scale, globalizing processes and simplifying the ways of working, while delivering an enhanced customer experience by listening and acting on our customers’ feedback.
PPS is organized in four service lines: Administration & Payroll, Learning, Recruitment and International Mobility. To ensure close alignment with local needs, there are 6 PPS managers, functionally (as second assessor) responsible for the service delivery in one of the following regions:
• North America;
• West Europe;
• East Europe;
• North Asia;
• South Asia & Pacific;
• Latam.
Your Responsibilities:
1. Ensure optimal process alignment with outsource partner and PPS Learning teams to drive efficiency, speed in process execution and high levels of customer satisfaction;
2. Review regularly the performance of the operation and ensure that projected benefits are achieved, by defining and implementing process KPI’s;
3. Drives continuously vendor process innovation and harmonization initiatives;
4. Manages together with the PGP Sourcing Specialist that contracts, KPI’s, SLA’s, escalation process, continued improvement are in place and are actively applied;
5. (Defines and Implements a full control cycle that ensures delivery by the Philips and vendor teams;
6. Reports (pro-)active on all levels on those business issues that need immediate attention;
7. Apply concepts, guidelines, methodology and principles required to achieve world-class performance at Philips level;
8. Assures external benchmarking of vendor processes;
9. Initiates and drives alignment with key stakeholder groups, including L&D Council, Learning Methodology Manager and Learning Functional Owner to ensure system functionality is aligned to the learning strategy;
10. Manages integration of other internal learning teams who wish to use the outsource partnership to execute their learning activities including scoping solution, implementation of change requests, training of customer, introduction to the outsource vendor contacts and ongoing support to the customer;
11. Actively works with outsource partner to ensure optimal delivery of all elements of the partnership;
12. Identifies, aligns, recommends and implements change requests to the processes and/or technology solutions;
13. Responsible for integration of technology with other Philips systems and tools (eg. PDS connection, HR Portal connection, SSO solutions).
